Buka Hatimu, Armada
Just six months ago I heard the name “Armada” (Fleet) made the name of a band. What’s in a name, the old saying goes. But really I was fascinated when I heard one of the songs are sung, “Buka Hatimu” (Open Your Heart). Not the tone that is too simple, but the lilting lyrics that I like. At that time, my sister-in-law of Cirebon play that song on the tape of his car. I also had to repeat play.
“Buka hatimu, bukalah sedikit untukku…” (open your heart, open a little for me), so the song tells. The story is very cliched, but still sold for sale. Especially if not the story of a broken heart, but the lyrics are somewhat different from other melancholy songs. Here, the man asks his girlfriend to open her hearts so that he can still have. However, he does not always consider himself does not exist. The problem, as it complained of the man, his girlfriend was always considered himself not exist. Not consider it!
This love story without reply. But it also reflected the insistence of a man for trying to have her lover, despite her lover no longer loved him and did not think existed.
And because the lyrics are pretty strong for maudlin songs like this, so I tend to like it, probably because of my mood that matches the soul of the song so I tried to listen to this song more in Armada. Here is the song….
Buka Hatimu
Aku telah lelah mengikuti semua langkah kakimu
Dan mengharap bisa memiliki
Berbagai cara telah aku lakukan untuk hidupmu
Hingga aku mengorbankan hidupku
Buka hatimu, bukalah sedikit untukku
Sehingga diriku bisa memilikimu
Betapa sakitnya, betepa perihnya hatiku
Selalu dirimu tak menganggap ku ada
