IN Indonesia, girl name like “Rihanna” is very common. Not exactly Rihanna, but it must be spell Riana (without “h”). Yes, it’s very common. In others part of the world, Rihanna is a star, big-big star.  She is a girl, just nineteen. Singer and model. She is a new icon in a huge country like America, I think, because of her sexy voice.

Last month I did windows shopping in a small mall, Bintaro Plaza, East Jakarta. My eyes was stabbed by a black label CD called “Rihanna: good girl gone bad”. There is another label: Special Indonesian Edition, complete with Indonesian’s flag. So I took and bought one. Previously, I saw Rihanna performance on MTV in my room’s TV. I impressed with her song, “Umbrella” and “Shut Up and Drive”.

Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born in Saint Michael, Barbados, 20th February 1988.  Her Father, Ronald, was African dan European heritage, while her mother, Monica Fenty was Guyanese. French Guyana, it was remind me to Kourou that I was there for almost two weeks last Desember 2005. Now, Rihanna lives in San Diego, California (USA).
